Training and Skill Development Cell

 

The college has commenced its Training and Skill Development office that has started training and skill development efforts to coach the pre-final and final year students. The team has set as its ambition to achieve 100% placements across all courses offered by the college.

The Training and Skill Development Cell provides training on communication and personality development, technical and general aptitude, memory, self-confidence, motivation and group discussion skills. An MoU has been signed with Byts India, Hyderabad [ https://byts.co.in ] to conduct placement training program for the students to keep them updated and make them ready to face the interview confidently.

Certification Courses / Value Added Courses

It is important for higher education institutions to supplement the curriculum to make students better prepared to meet industry as well as develop their own interests and aptitudes. Every year apart from the curriculum each department conduct Value added training courses and the qualified students are certified.

Placement Training

Placement training plays a major role in shaping up the career goals of students. It is the dream of every engineering student to get placed in a top organization visiting their campus for recruitment. Keeping this key aspect into consideration, it is realized that training is important for engineering students to enhance their employability skills and achieve good placement in various Industries.
At present, the competition for employment is increasing every day and placement has become a challenging task. Training of students and equipping them with life skills has become an important responsibility of the institution. Along with technical expertise, development of a holistic personality is also necessary. To meet out these requirements, a fully fledged training cell is operating in our college to enhance the capabilities of engineering graduates on par with the industry standards.

Mini and Main Projects

Students are encouraged to take part in Mini and Main Project competitions from their I year. Every student is grouped under one project mentor. The project mentor gives real-time problems and the students are asked to address the problem through their project work. Inter departmental Project Expo is conducted every year in the month of March. Students and faculties are highly appreciated to publish their works in any journals, Conference and competitions.

Gate Academy

The purpose of the GATE Academy is to test students knowledge and understanding of their under Graduate level subjects in Engineering and Science.
Special Training is given to the students from their second year onwards.
